hi guys I was thinking to sent my grille to a bodyshop to have it paint in black, to match my silver metallic car.
What do you think about it?
Is stone chips goin' to mess up my paint over time making it fall off?
Should I have it painted in matte black or glossy black>?
which one is more preffered?
The car will look more like the Amg car's from the 80ies in black grille look![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
thanks for your help

Just know that once you paint your grill black all the things behind it in the engine will be visible. I did that on my Volvo (and left the chrome slash) and it was disconcerting how easily you could see the radiator.

Whatever a can of good plastic bonding spray paint will cost. Also it will chip away during driving so you will have to redo it every couple of years.
