Anyone Ever Had This Problem With Your C43
At any speed and sometimes when I'n on idle I get this really annoying "whistle" or "beeeeep" which SEEMS to be coming from the radio but it's not. Here's what I have done so far to try to trouble shoot it.
1- Took off the fuse from radio, still did it.
2- Took of fuse from cigarette lighter, still did it.
It's like it has a bad ground or something.
ALSO, today I got a CHECK ENGINE light. Went to autozone and they hooked up the code reader. But when they asked me to start the car ther was no longer a check engine light. But the guy said it did throw out 2 codes.
1- KNOCK SENSOR - P0330 (P0330 Knock Sensor 2 Circuit Malfunction (Bank 2))
2- ENGINE COOLING SENSOR - P0115
Could any of these 2 be causing the whistle/beeeep noise?
Also, where's the knock sensor located at?
Hope you guys can help.
Thanks.

I'm going to remove the radio of the car since its easy to do and see what happens. Any advice where this knock sensor is located on the c43? Anyone?
Btw, I replaced the sensor which is on front left side, which I believe is the crank sensor. I also replaced the sensor thats on the right back side bottom of the engine. I dont have a clue what sensor that was but I replaced both when my car would not turn on unless I waited 25-30 minutes than it would crank on. So I have no idea if that knock sensor was replaced.

Just clear the codes and see what comes back. The knock sensor is under the manifold, you don't really want to go there unless you have to. I've only seen 1 knock sensor fail on a M112/113 engine so it's pretty unlikely.
As for the noise, have you checked the overhead control panel? The dimmer circuitry can be noisey as well as the A/C interior temp sensor.
