C43 lowering springs

Just bought 18x8 fr 18x9 knock off 3 piece monoblocks with rear deep lip for my arriving C43.Want to lower the car to improve handling but do not want to degrade ride. Also the obvious plus in stance of the car.Do I need to change shocks also? Car has 41k original miles. Was going to go with Eibach pro kit,no.1 pad front,no.2 rear.Any suggestions or am I all set? Thanks all.
