A Fiat 500, wow. I've never seen one of those in the states. Now that Fiat is a partial owner of Chrysler, I'm hopeful that the new 500 Abarth will show up here in a few years. If Top Gear loves it, it's gotta be good!

Nice looking C43 as well. With 40k it's just getting going. The remainder of your garage is pretty impressive as well. 993TT, 930, and an SRT. Very nice.

...getting back to you on your question about cost of the "Euro AMG" springs from Gert in Belgium. Cost including shipping was 340 Euros in July, 2007. Delivery was incredibly fast.

Alternatively, the part numbers as noted in my linked post can be purchased from your local US MB dealer. I confirm that those part numbers are what I recieved from Gert, and what he sources as the "Euro C43 AMG" parts.
Even though I had the part numbers before I bought them from Gert, I wanted to be sure I got the 'right' thing. The MB parts guy looked up the part numbers for me, and they are listed as fitting a variety of cars from an E320 to a 208 CLK55, but are not listed for the C43.

Whatever....they work great in the C43. It's low enough, but comfortable, and I never scrape, rub, or hit bump stops in any way. The number 1 spring pads in the front give it a noticable rake.

My uncle had an orange Zastava 101, the car seemed to be bulletproof. It lasted him 29 years, then he sold it for a Daewoo Nexia

I don't think the Daewoo will last 29 years or 2.9 years for that matter.... Bad choice of replacement........
