Hi,I'm new here,I just met an old man selling his 1998 C43,needs a lot to be done,the car has 135k miles,two tone interior,very dirty ,check engine light is on,He says he was driving and accidentally downshifted causing the rpm's to skyrocket since then the check engine light is on, front bumper has been hit,no major damaged just need to be painted and foglights are loose ,right mirror broken,wood moulding on RF door damaged ,the car starts but seems like is misfiring he told me he was asking $6.5k but he is willing to take $5k,I just don't think is worth that much needing so much.
I appreciate any input.

Why would you want to deal with someones headache? Not worth it.

I agree, I would avoid this one like the veritable plague. Too many miles and if that tranny goes out - you're gonna be spending more than what you're gonna pay from the outset.
