c 36 stock height question ?

Hello from rainy Orlando,FL.

I am a new member to this site, My name is Mario I am 34 yo,married with a 9 month old boy, I live in Orlando FL, well here it goes,I just purchased a 95 C36 AMG red with 114k miles, other then smal blemishes and the rims peeling it is clean,I've had it for about 2 days now, and I do like it so far it is responsive and quick for a small car, I had a 01 Lexus GS300 before the c36 but just was not my style anyways I bouhgt this c 36 but the height seems a bit off in the back,it looks a higher then stock c36's I've seen in pics, I wanted to know if this looks correct, I've attached a picture of it, also I don't know if its normal for these cars for the engine to sound kinda like a diesel would, aslo I am noticing the radio goes out too and the volume knob is not responsive is this just a normal thing for a MB this old to do ? anyways any light anybody can share would surely be apreciated, thanks in advance.

Mario

just get an aftermarket radio and you'll notice a slight difference in sound
diesel sound is normal... get a set of lowering springs, you'll love it!

ridiculous ride height is product of the spring pads. mine looks like an suv. it actually looked higher than my friend's w202 c280 on 17" monoblocs. it's 1-5 pads, get lower number ones...

also, hot temps leads to really really loud fan noise.

Thanks for the responses, I do apreciate it, one thing I do want to ask is I do want to lower it but not slam it just maybe like an inch all around any suggestions on what name brand or spring height I should get ? and the spring pad does that have to be considered when buying lowering springs ? once again thanks for the responses.

eibach is the way to go if you don't want it slammed. i think h&r goes lower than the eibach. you can also try to find a euro spec spring. look at my gallery at club202, i had euro spec springs before i went with h&r.
