C43 AMG
Hey, that drop looks very nice. Low enough to improve handling, and looks, but high enough to distract attention, rub, and scrape speed bumps.
Was ordering them a hassle? How much were they?
I am thinking of getting them.
Thanks,
Wy

Wyatt,
You can get them at www.carnewal.com-Owner is Gert Carnewal. He specializes in Porsche, as you will see on his website. You will have to email him directly to order them, as they are no where on his site. I paid 295 Euro...which is just a bit under $350.00 US includes shipping. Very fast too...arrived in about 3 to 4 days...and thats from europe. Good luck.

Yip. Authorized bilstein rebuiding centers charge 55 bucks to rebuild a shock. During that time, they will work with you to valve compression &/or rebound differently if you want. No extra charge cuz the shocks have to be repressurized after they take it apart. At least that's what i remember the bilstein guy explained to me.

The "Euro AMG"-spec springs for the CLK55 are the exact same as the C43?
Do I use the part numbers above (Front : 210.321.22.04
Rear : 210.324.34.04) and they'll work fine?
Can these parts be purchased at a U.S. dealership?
I appreciate any assistance

There are lots of springs that Mercedes makes. Each spring may be used in multiple applications. The particular application may vary due to a wide number of reasons.
So, those part numbers are used in W210 E-class under certain circumstances. They are also used in a C43, and a CLK55 application. But the reasons for using those springs may vary. For instance, it may be used in a C43 with a certain set of options, and on a CLK55 with no options. Or the spring may set the proper ride height for Europe on a W210, and for the US in a C43.
Ergo, they are "identical" in some sense, but their use varies.
And how it works on your car, that will vary too. Your options, etc. make the weight of the car change.

I understand. Thanks for your prompt response. I have posted an inquiry on the AMG Club forum asking for assistance with part numbers.
In case anyone on MB World can help, I have an '02 CLK55 with no options other than the CD changer. I am seeking the part numbers for euro-spec front and rear springs.

Hey Naim, Nice to see you on this link again. I see that you are probably back to your low suspension setup. If the euro springs don't work out for Chappy, I'd still like to pick them up.
Are you going to the Bay Area meet this Saturday?

One other question: Do I need euro-spec dampers/shocks when using the AMG euro-spec springs, or will my current CLK55 shocks work fine?

I believe the CLK55 shocks are the same for US-spec and Euro-spec. Not positive about that, but on my 2001 car they are pretty stiff.
