Hey guys, I have a C43 AMG that has developed an intermittent starting problem. The problem started about two weeks. The engine turned over as per usual but didnt start. This continued for several attempts then the engine burst into life!. This has happened on several occasions now and happens without warning!. One thing I noticed on the last couple of occasions is that when you put the key in the ignition and turn one click, the familiar whine of the fuel pump priming seems to be missing!. Any ideas as to the problem would be gratefully received.

Welcome.Please do everyone a favor when requesting help with any mechanical issues.Please provide the mileage and as much maintenance history as possible in order to have us help you.Alot of issues that arise with our vehicles are often items that are in need of replacement due to age and or mileage of the vehicle.Without any of the above information its taking a stab in the dark but I would guess its the CPS-crank position sensor going bad.If you do a "search" you'll find information about other symptoms as well as the DIY repair sequence.If it is the CPS its about a 20-30 minute repair depending upon your mechanical ability.
