I can give some insight to the long term consumption of my 43, as I have noted every fuel entry since I have purchased the vehicle. 
Since April 15, 2010, I have covered 55'668km and used 6'023lt giving an average consumption of 10,63 lt/100km during that period. I'll let those interested to do the conversion maths to US gallons and miles
