I don't know about the wiper fluid but the regular "spray and wipe off" version is a must if you live anywhere that gets rain. I literally don't use my wipers in the rain. A added bonus is that bugs will hit and slide off the windshield rather than "splatting".

I have used it for years with very good results specially in winter and rainy periods. Needs renewal every 2-3 weeks depending on condition. Very rare that I have to switch on my wipers further that the intermediate level

I used the washer fluid once. I didn't like it at all... Didn't do a good job of cleaning, it just smeared stuff around basically and left a greasy residue. I'm sure it's bc of the rainx part of it, but I like my fluid to clean first and foremost. It may have been a bad batch, but I don't care to give it another try. IMO, just use the rainx stuff separately and get traditional washer fluid.

Rain -X
I've been on the road for 28 years. 60-70.000 miles a year. with Rain -X on My windows , & I use the Rain -X wiper washer tank fluid. Always had great results . It is a pain in the A$$ to polish out, but the results are worth it. BTW My Girl friend doesn't like it. says it distracts her vision. Guess that way I drive most of the time Cheers _PTEngineering
