Your local car audio shop or even best buy should be able to help you on installation kits, harness, etc...
I just replaced my 8 track
with the new Alpine ida x305s that plays the pandora app trough the iphone with a single 12" Alpine type R and 400 watt mono kicker amp...kept my bose speakers with a $50 harness I did not have to change my internal speakers. Sounds amazing! Enough bass in your face!

Sounds amazing! Enough bass in your face!to the OP- if you get a METRA brand harness double check the switched +12 and constant +12V they could be backwards on the harness.
Mine has the metra harness and it was backwards- found that out when I swapped HU's with the Alpine in my pickup...
