Spring Pad Q
If one wanted to lower a C36 just a little w/o getting lowering springs, will swapping out the oem pads to different ones work ?
In theory...wouldn't a thicker pad compress the spring more....or is the thinner # 1 pad to lower the chassis height more ?
Thanks.

..Don't know about the C36, but the C43 comes with #2 spring pads. Switching to #1 pads, the thinnest, will only lower the car a very small amount...but it will lower the car. I have the specs on spring pad thickness somewhere if you need that kind of detail. I got that data from this forum, so you could also do a search.
Intalling the spring pads is a fairly large amount of work, and it wouldn't seem worth it to get something like 2-3mm drop.

Thanks guys.
My last 4 cars were all lowered and my S4 is as well....I think I'd like this one to stay in comfort mode.....its so nice to have once in a while .
The H&R's lower it too much for my roads.
