Wow most guys I read about only do it every 40k? HAHA- But you sir let the car sit for a year before you put 1500 miles on it! That and your c43 has almost twice the HP any of my cars ever have! Either way, your keeping up VERY well with your cars. If you decide to sell PLEASE post here first so we can all take a swing at it first!

Well call me crazy but if it were for sale in November when I bought mine, it would be sitting in my garage right now! What a bad a$$ deal, I paid 8k for mine and it had 120k miles on it. However, it did come with a newly rebuilt tranny, rebuilt AC, wheels, brand new tires, billy shocks and h&r spring (w/only 15k miles on them) and pretty much everything else I wanted to do mod wise. So I didn't do too bad but dam the HPS kit alone is $4k and it will swap over to the 5.4l if you decide to do that swap later! Lucky dog!

I got it for $9k...little high, but with the interior being almost perfect, the HPS kit and the new wheels, tires, brakes, etc.. I couldn't complain much.

Pics are from my cell phone so they aren't so great.. I haven't really done anything to it yet other than converting the fogs to HID so they match the stockers.

I will post the C43k on here if I sell it... I don't think I will at this time but if I did I would want good $$$ for it and I don't go by KBB value.

If you are running full synthetic then changing your oil every 1500 miles is overkill... Not like it's going to hurt anything but it is not needed.

Oil changes should be a function of time as well as mileage. If you are only driving the car 1500 miles per year, you should be changing it at least that often.

^ Ha- as soon as he said he did it every 1500 miles, I was thinking "Wtf?" then I looked back and noticed he MIGHT put 1500 miles a year on that bad boy and it all made since.

C43 99 Kleeman Supercharged

Hello All,
I do not post allot here, but have found tons of valuable information.
My current project is 99 c43 Kleemann supercharger.
1. Any suggestion how to make closed loop cooling system for S/C adding reservoir and upgrading heat exchange/radiator, what is mixture to use to fill it.
2. I need to replace my fuel pump (it is stock pump at this time) is it worth installing upgraded fuel pump and what are the benefits?
My car is basic stage Kleemann supercharger with kleemann reprogrammed ECU. Stock exhaust.

3. since I have excess to almost any mercedes w202 w210 parts and AMG freak I was thinking to implant w210 e55 engine into c43 and cover it with current Kleeman S/C and update ECU and exhaust. Will C43 S/C work/fit on 5.4l/e55 engine?

Don't you have the Kleemann manual? Inside there is a workaround described (with fuel pump exchange and some resistor...) to run the supercharger without ecu modification. If your car has ecu customized for your supercharger, the fuel pump upgrade is not necessary.

Guys, this may be a stupid question, but I feel like I'm missing something.
Why has no one swapped in a W211 E55k engine??? I thought there might be clearance problems with the twin-screw style charger on top, but that seems to be what the Gen-II system is. Is it just a headache with electronics? Could you not run it of a modified C43 ECU like the C43k guys are?

nd4, you hit the nail bang on the head. The electronics is the MAJOR problem area which is difficult and practically impossible to solve.
