All this talk about LSD has got me curious whats in mine, it certainly hasn't exhibited any symptoms of having one and there is no 'spezial-oel" tag on it like all my other ones have had. next time i have its *** in the air I'll spin the wheels.
fwiw, any US 560 model had a LSD. many euro 126's had it too, all three of my euro 500's have LSD, and I swapped a 3.07 LSD from a w116 into my 83 SEC.

the one with the colored tape on it looks like it has been tampered / opened before! it doesn't have the original rear cover but rather one that seems slightly smaller than the housing, u can also see the sealent used freely to reseal the housing / cover.

How about a "Multiple disc LSD - 30% lockup" for the W211 E55? Yes, available. W203 C32, Yes (estates and saloons)! What about the W209 CLK55? - Yes (p/n A 209 350 14 14).
Their program would even put quad exhaust on your 2003 CLK55 (p/n HWA 209 490 01 01) for just 2900euro installed. Nurburgring Suspension? Just takes cash!! There was even a "Performance Package" available for the R230 SL55 - back in 2003! The LSD for the R230 SL55 is p/n A230 350 35 14.
So....my point is this: The part could exist, but the OP needs to show that what he is selling is an accurate representation of the diff.

Has this been resolved yet?
Perhaps the seller could just remove the cover and take some photos of the diff. As I posted earlier, one look at the inside and it will be apparent in an instant if the diff is a limited slip or not.
