I'm sorry but I have to tell you that you r seriously misinformed. There is no MB that came to the US or built in Germany with a Posi traction Differential. They were not 60's muscle cars!

If you meant Limited Slip Diff(LSD) the only older MB that is known to have come with a performance LSD would be the E190 16v 2.3 and Cosworth 16v2.5.

There is no AMG made from the mid 90's till 2006 that came from the factory with a limited slip diff until the AMG SL65 came out and I believe the later W211 E55K's or the newer E63's and C63's with the P30 package , if I'm saying that right come with that option.

Only upgrades done to a 1997 C36 was the rear gear ratio,if I'm right and the 5 speed transmission.

We're not talking aftermarket or whover these epc guys are.. We are talking AMG made and built for a C36 US or Germany. I need to see some links and facts.
Car has been out since 1995 and I have yet to hear of a factory AMG LSD diff for the c36 much less a C43 Euro or US.

I never said the c 43 came with them from the factory it was a option on the c 36 not sure if any made it here... There are so many euro/AMG options out there that are very rare.. Did you know back when the c43 came out Amg had a C55 option. So there are a few real factory c55's out there.

Yes I did know that and a majority of us here that own C43's know that. If I know something for a fact I will prove my point, until then,I say there was no LSD option for the C36,nor the W210 E36. I also know that there are options made available by AMG for those rich folks out in the Middle East because of the $ they r willing to pay.

But prove to us what makes your diff worth $1500.00 and what facts do you have that prove to us it's an AMG LSD diff?
