Nice Fri Morn Cruise With My Buddies 02' 325Ci (With PICS)
Spent my day off cruising with my buddy in his 2002 325ci 5spd ZSP package. He also has a genuine Dinan intake and is chipped. I was suprised on the highway, it held its own without a doubt. However, even with a 5 to 6 car length head start at 60-70mph my torque prevailed. Once my pedal hit the floor I had him reeled in and was sniffing his tail at about 115mph. Did not get to do any side by side pulls as I was following him and the initial races were just kind of spontaneous and only pushed after I saw him pulling away hard. Anyhow, after I got the pass in she got up to 140 very quickly before I lit the rotors up due to traffic. I'll post the shots I took in the pictures forum here but in the meantime I'll share the thread he started at BimmerForums (PHOTOS ARE THERE)
Just a quick FYI for the more conservative: I DO NOT CONDONE RECKLESS STREET RACING!! This was 10am on a Friday morning with little to no traffic, left lane was squeeky clean and we went at it in tandem. No weaving or cutting off innnocent drivers. When he saw me nipping his *** he moved over and let me continue my "safe" axe murdering. I don't play that way
I've always said "There is a time and a place for everything" and I've got MORE than enough experince to know when that is....if any of you remember the remains of my C280 long ago
Anyhow I think this may also qualify for the kill stories forum but not until I get a dashmount video of a side by side run at 2 in the morning.
I'm HAPPY and very proud of my good 'ole powerhouse of an AMG!!!!

Beautiful pics- red would've been my 1st choice given the chance.
You just don't see a RED Mercedes very often, only special ones.

. The red not only turns out to be a really sweet sporty, classy color but OLD GUYS LOVE IT. I always hear old guys talking to themselves when I'm comming out of the grocery store on my way to the trunk going "Ohh... thats a nice red car!".
