Preventative maintenance for the Northern climates
Replaced starter last week om my C36 and discovered the connector at the end of the wire running from the starter to the terminal on the firewall was extremely corroded. There is a plastic housing covering the bolt and I believe road salt gets trapped in there and causes corrosion.
Was able to replace the connector on the end with a new one fortunately as one from the dealership is $120 and $60 for the module that the cable attaches to.
Would suggest taking a look at your vehicle and doing some preventative maintenance and save yourself from getting stranded somewhere.

Thanks for the heads up. i only use mine in the summer and fall though. C36 is a nice ride. Bring it to the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix. There are some C36 owners there and the event is a blast. www.pvgp.org
