i might be able to get just the 300 km/h speedo, is it easy to remove/replace the face?

As far as I have read it's pretty easy.... I have posted links on videos and threads on removing the cluster, there are 2 different ways 1 is easier than the other but you will need the cluster pulling tools or you will need to make them. I found the part # for the tools, it is posted in the w202 how to video thread I believe. Have you removed the limiter??

Have you guys removed the limiter??? Why would you want the gauge that reads a speed you can't even go?????

my friend drove my car a little over 155mph and it still wanted to go

I believe the C43 will go 185 MPH WITHOUT the limiter..... WITH the limiter it will go 155 MPH. I don't even want to go 155 MPH.... I got my C43 up to 120 MPH with my buddy and his girlfriend in the car and it was MORE than enough for me. 100MPH and below suits me JUST FINE....

Me thinks the 300kmh counter was standard gear on the AMG C43 to C55 conversion in 2000, but I could be wrong...
