Question Rear diff on a C43?

Does the rear centre diff from a w208 CLK55 or w210 E55 AMG fit the C43 rear axle?
Reading Money one's thread about swapping engines from c43 to E55 transplant, gave me some funny ideas about this future mod!

I know the gear ratio will be changed, but if I install the E55 diff on my unmolested C43 and still run the factory c43 engine, will this mod work out?
Any improvements here with 55 diff????????????

If I install the 55 engine, I also eventually have to transplant the 55 transmision for durability?
So is it going to be any improvement with the 55 diff?

The 55 diff is it waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay stronger than c43 diff?

Now that I have the 300 speedo dial I have to source a 55 engine/transmission and eventually the diff.
Freeekin A!

I doubt you can do a straight across swap... I bet the TCU wouldn't like it at all

I love the order your mods are in lol

But anyways as long as you service your stock tranny on regular basis you are fine. My friends c43 has 180k miles on the stock tranny, runs like a champ plus money-one still runs his c43 tranny and he had a 5.4L engine in his car for some time from what I know

when the car is fully modded it will be a true Balkan gangsta car!

about the 55 diff.
maybe the CLK55 rear axle will fit the w202 bolt on with minor adjustments?
