It has been a long time I know. Been caught up in the day to day of life so haven't had much time to myself. Of course I still have the C43 and love driving it everyday. I have over 150k on the clock now I haven't installed the headers as I have been spending all of my money remodeling my house I have tried to get the remote eurocharged tune a couple times now and for some reason we couldn't get it to take. I believe I found out why (blown fuse for OBDII) and I am going to try again.
Zayed, that a pretty cool race car! I like those hood clips & the suspension setup. Except I don't think those are EVO wheels as they claim..? I have a set of those & I'm pretty sure they're just C230 wheels.
Looks like they had a C 55 (S202) and a CL 55 (W215)for safety cars
Just found this:
The 2000 CL55 AMG F1 is also extremely rare with a total production of only 55 units. This was a tribute to the modified Safety Car version used in Formula One during the 1999 and 2000 seasons.[8] The engine was a naturally-aspirated 5.4-liter V8 delivering 354 bhp @ 5500 rpm, and 391 ft lbs torque @ 4100 rpm. This was the first road car to feature full Ceramic Brembo Vented and Cross Drilled Disc Brakes.
So it seems official now the S202 C55 AMG is the rarest AMG ever...
(After Consolidation of Merc/AMG)
Global Sales
S202 C55 AMG 7
which I guess means
W202 C55 AMG 52
Awesome find DRB. So if you see a factory original S202 C55 AMG, ****** it up no matter the cost!!!
I wonder if the 3 Medical Cars from F1 are included in that 7. I'm guessing yes, that would mean that only 4 were initially released to the public. (Assuming they had a new Medical Car every year which I think they did). And DRB is saying 3 were imported to the UK, that would leave 1 unaccounted for.
How accurate are the production numbers in the link?
Since here i read different numbers. Example and jump to Allgemeine Daten. https://mercedes-benz-publicarchive....xhtml?oid=5528
C 36 5221
C 43 3085 and C 43 T 772 = 3857
C 32 6695 and C 32 T 1556 = 8251
(203) C 55 4021 and C 55 T 595 = 4616

Sorry, I cannot find "general data" when I convert to English. can you post the numbers you found?
I can tell you that I was wrong in my post about them using a new medical car every year. They definitely only used 1 medical car for all the years, and it is very possible that the medical car was excluded from the production number in general as it is somewhat likely the medical car was destroyed after use or parted out/ sold without title. Nevertheless, even with a production number of 7 released to the public - whether considered special order or not, S202 C55 is definitely one of the rarest AMG cars in existance.
