Wow. I'm starting the think the drag strip really isn't where our cars belong. That's a ton of power and still running a mid 11 on what look like slicks. I'd like to make my when into the mid or low 13's and then call it a day. There a thread open right now in the W203 section about the W220 S600. You can pick up a LOW mile S600 for 25k and tune it and run 11's on street tires! However, its still a limo! Ha. Love our cars but man, good 1/4 mile times a very hard to come by...

w202 is heavy. if you stripped it, it would probably be great for drag.

the only thing i can really say is: they didn't really have performance in mind when they designed our cars!

3400 lbs is heavy? What do you think of the C63 then? Its 4000lbs and it can run 11's with a tune... That 600lbs more than our cars! There are plenty of super-cars that weigh in a 3400 lbs. The s600 is 4600lbs!!! And it can run 11's with a tune!

Nah- They just wanted to make a really nice looking upscale w202 with some good power for getting around town and passing highway speeds. This is nothing more than a German Muscle car, drives and sounds like one too!

Don't think you could call the S600 a super car... The Enzo Ferrari weighs 3010 lbs., now that's a SUPER CAR and it is 390 lbs lighter than our C43's. Granted shaving 390 lbs. (unless it was all unsprung weight, which would be pretty much impossible) would net you around .4 of a second of your 1/4 mile times which would put you in the high 13's low 14's...

110 Wet shot would be nice and you could probably get like 75lbs out of her to help... Should be good for a high to mid 12 in 1/4...

No no no. I would never call an s600 a super car and the ENZO is playing in hyper car territory... Now the Audi R8 V10 is a super car and its weighs 3450 w/o a driver. Just saying, its not the the weight.

There is a pretty big difference between 11.5 and 11.8. The faster you go, the harder it is to pick up those tenths.

I'm sure a blower 55 is putting out 500 to 550 hp, so running an 11.5 sounds about right.
