I know a few guys get lucky and even keep the C43 tranny when swapping into a 5.4 and never have any issues with reg oil changes. GOOD LUCK!
Man-I would had assumed the 99 would have been ok. Glad I avoided that. I read the 5.4 vs Kompressor debate. I'd love to have a C55 conversion done. No fair...Ebay has one for under $2250.00 Id go for less miles but price is do-able.

Thumbs up Yahoooooo

I got it back today!!!

First I gotta give a huge THANK YOU to Moneyone for making this possible and to the community of MBWorld.org! I could not have kept it without the knowledge and assistance of everyone.

It seems to shift smoother when I place it P to D and so forth. Snow on the ground is a little frustrating cause i can't get to test her out yet. I needed front tires bad and planned on getting some just prior to it getting sick. Thats out of the way now too.

Moneyone said it shifted fine but around 80mph its at 3000rpm. A little higher than normal but shouldn't be an issue.

I am a very happy I got to keep it. Its been a rough few weeks but we survived thanks to all.
