Someone with a C43 would really enjoy this....

I am selling the sole copy I have of The Star magazine from July/August 1998. This is the official magazine of the Mercedes-Benz Club of America, which I have been a member for 15+ years.

I'm thinning out my collectibles!

There is a fantastic 8-page article on the C43 (see pics).

Forgive me? I didn't realize it would generate this much interest. I was just moving around a pile of old mags (wife was happy I was cleaning up my offices) when I decided to post it up. My biggest issue is that I way underestimated the postage...nearly $3 to send First Class! The purchaser was overly generous with the transaction and sent more than the $7.25 w/o me ever asking, or knowing what my cost was going to be. Class act.

I've got more interesting and unique items coming....stay tuned!

I honor my commitments. My statement to you was you are 1st in line if the buyer falls through on this item. Since he has already paid and I have already shipped, this article is NLA.

That said, I haven't found any further C43 specific articles....yet. Please be patient gents. I've got 15+ years of magazines to go through, plus some models, key chains, caps, etc. I also have a glass/frosted 1954 Gullwing I don't know what to do with....

What I'm really worried about is unloading the original 19 year-old copy of The Star featuring the 500E. I have but one and they are NLA through MBCA. I just want this stuff to go to a good home and not **** anybody off.

Out of pure possibility and curiousity, would you happen to have the MB Enthusiast that features the Carlsson w201 5.0? It was an issue in the 2005-ish timeframe that I flipped through, and could kick myself for not buying. Didn't think at the time that I'd be committing to a similar project
