Adaptive tranny BS
Is there a way to get rid of the adaptive tranny software?? I can't stand it, when I want to cruise I want to cruise and when I want to go fast I want to go fast... For the most part I cruise around but I also have been known to have a lead foot but do to my usual cruising when the lead foot wants to come out I have to floor it to get the response I'm looking for. After I do the ECU reset it responds MUCH better and if I could have it like that the whole time without having to do the reset everyday I would be pleased. Does anyone know if there is a way to disable the adaptive tranny software?

you have an old car, you can't do better than key in the ignition/step the throttle procedure, to default your car.
or remove battery terminal
if you have been cruizin' for a long time and your car feels like an old geezer fart, and then Mr. Hyde wants to come out n' play you stomp the throttle your car feels lazy!
Nothing happens, car is still lazy, needing to downshift to get it go faster.
this only happens after long time cruizin', car is in lazy mode!
I hate that crap, I guess we all have this fu-- up?

Our you can just shift through the gates? The only time my car is ever in D is when I'm on the highway, other than that its 3rd and when I feel more agressive, ill ride out first and second shifting through and it feels like a different car.
