Hello everyone!
My name is Justin, I sell cars and I am the Sprinter specialist at Mercedes-Benz Winnipeg. I recently bought myself my first Mercedes.
A bit of background: I've been with Merc for two years and was never planning on owning one. Yes, I've been told drive waht you sell etc, but I was a die hard Jap car guy. I had a 1991 Subaru Legacy Turbo, 2000 Forester and a 1991 Civic which I turbocharged and wrenched on for 8 years. It was my baby and I thought I'd never sell it, but after working here for a while and seeing some cool cars, I made the jump. I am a fan of the oldschool and AMG is close to my heart, so really there was only one choice. I sold the civic and legacy and kept my forester for winter duties.
Out with the old.......
In with the new(ish)....
I am happy I found one with different wheels than the stock ones, I just don't know if these were in fact ordered with the car new, or if someone swapped them.
Anyway, it's a 99 with 135000kms and I paid 7500 cdn. It has the silver/black two tone leather, and xenon lights.
I gave it to my tech and said, order every part that you think should be replaced. I will most likely sink 5k into it to repair odds and ends and paint it. The car has some surface rust and pretty much no clearcoat, but I'll get her back to A-1 condition before summertime.

going on a honeymoon with your car.
check your trunklock if it works properly!
it looks like it was dropped a few inch?
looks good.
does it have lots of rust?
open all 4 doors and fold the upper doorseal rubber, inspect the doorframes, lots of hidden rust there on many w202 and 210's
if a w202 is maintained properly it's a great car, if not it's an expensive rustbucket!

Nice car and welcome. Looks like you are pretty much already suspension lowered. Like the wheels and staggered too. They are defo lighter than the Monos and this improves unsprung suspension weight and overall handling. Look like 17" or are they 18" wheels? Enjoy the driving. Recommend (but you probably already have that planned) you get a full fluids transfusion and filter change everywhere in the car: engine, ATF, rear diff, brake fluid, radiator. That will get you new blood in all the important organs and avoid possible problems in the near future. Search the forum, plenty of good info and tips and don't hesitate asking a question. There are NO stupid questions.

It is dropped, but I bought new eibach springs because it's a bit too low for these terrible streets. The wheels are 17, and every fluid will be changed, along with any parts. The tranny will be serviced too. I've been lurking on these forums for quite some time now, and have found a ton of great info. Thanks for the warm welcome, I will most likely document things as they progress. All the parts I ordered are here now, so as soon as it's in good shape, it's off to the bodyshop.

Another Canadian! Woot!
And good price too. Guys out here in Alberta and in Vancouver are still asking $12-13k. I paid $9000 last year for mine.

OP: from the pictures posted, it looks like it's in a nice condition.
congratulations.
hmmm, maybe I should buy one there myself. Problem is, nowhere to park/store it.

I am having a LOT of trouble with how low my car is in Dallas, Tx. This state was meant for SUV's! I can't wait to leave!
Trunklock works just fine!
