Dam it!

On the way in to work this morning and a nutty lady who likes to find stray cats (ya true) decides to back out of an intersection without looking. "oh I didn't expect anyone to be on the road this time of morning". I am glad I had enough reaction time to swerve vs a direct hit to her bumper.

3 days! is all I had with her since the transmission was fixed. AHHHHH.

Later on I noticed the line that ran down the whole side into the bumper area. I'll need a front monoblock.

SUCKS!!!! I am SCARED to death to drive my C43 around right now after all of the accidents that have happened to the members on here. It's been a bad couple months for C43's.... Could be worse, when I saw the title to your post I thought maybe your fresh installed tranny had blown up. Let's get that C43 fixed and back on the road ASAP, I wish you the best of luck

Somehow the car managed to shake hands with the car down the whole side. Just hope the paint will all match up and the Monoblock replaced.

damn bro. doesnt look good. But on the brighter side, you're fine, right? A car is still a car, no matter how you look at it. They can be replaced, people cant. And besides, insurance will take care of it.

eclectic assortment of cars
I feel your pain, though perhaps not as bad. I had my whole car painted in May/June - in preparation for using it for our wedding at the end of August. Exactly 6 days before the wedding, I got rear ended.

Keep safe out there everyone, there are far too many morons out there driving. Don't trust anyone!!

I totally feel your pain

Luckily it was not my C43; however it was my beloved daily-driver V6 Tacoma, that has been with me fourteen years - she was struck while I was in the restaurant eating dinner. Luckily people were hanging around outside, I quite frankly believe that she would have departed otherwise - she (my truck) just turned 200K. Allstate, her insurer, wanted to salvage my truck. She was parked beside me - you can imagine that pedal smashing down the carpet. Anyways, she is not getting salvaged but she will be out for a while getting mended.
