Yes there nice but its still fun to upgrade just to do it. Why not right? If not just because the other calipers look better? There are a lot of mods people do that dont help in DD but people still do them just the same. Wheels dont do ANY thing to help DD actually some people make there cars down right horrible for DD when they upgrade there wheels and they spend 4k doing it. This is a $500 mod that makes the brakes look better and work better for the track, if you ever did need them to. Why not?

as an example i doing a brake upgrade as we speak. if you are patient and search the right places something like mine can be done for half the cost of a brembo bbk or most any high performance brake kit.
im doing a 8 piston amg brembo caliper, 360mm 2 piece rotors for the front, 4 piston amg calipers, 330mm rotors for the rear with larger master cylinder resovoir and booster. new akebono euro pads and rear rotors, 500 miles on the fronts and used calipers. total cost..... wait for it...... 1500$!!
the key is finding what the hat offset is needed for your car then researching what larger amg has a close fit. for my 32 it was clk63 rotors for the front and slk55 rotors for the rear. after that its simply spacing out the calipers to fit and ensuring enough fluid is being pushed to them

Oh yeah. I agree about the brakemans after thinking about it but upgrading to some nicer MB AMG brakes, why not right? Sounds fun and some thing new.

Good answer and more than sufficient street driving. I live in a mountainous country and I have never experienced a brake fade or stopping problem. Better getting some good harder pads, flush and bleed brakes regularly and if you do get some fade, think about installing some fresh air ducting to the brakes. Loads cheaper that getting multiple pistons, fancy rotors, etc. I think that the upgrade to C32 4 pistons caliper and rotors is a nice idea (and will look good through the wheels) but is it really necessary for a street car?

Will these fit our cars? I would like to go to a 4 piston setup where rotors dont cost $225ea.

Brakes are important safety equipment. Nothing you posted will outperform what you already have for DD and light track use, and has been engineered for our cars.
If I was going to upgrade, I would look at two considerations: Brembo GTR or the new Stoptechs.
Otherwise, I'd like a set of Brabus/Alcon....talk about $$$$

If you don't want to spend the money, paint your calipers.

Yeah. Ill just track down some Xdrilled rotors. My calipers are already painted silver in high temp paint. They look great.
