Both. Old technology, and produces weak power by today's standards and competition, even if it is an AMG engine.

But it's good to have a spare. Someone get it!

The problem is there is no request for a 4.3 engine. No one with a E/CLK... 430 will insert a C43 engine to obtain 20-30hp and to find a C43 with damaged engine is hard.
You can sell your engine for low money or keep it.
I kept mine too. If I will find a poor C43 with damage engine or crash car, I will maybe buy, insert my old 4.3 engine and modify the car into an offroad buggy...

They just are not worth much.



It is really hard to justify spending more than $1k on a C43 motor, when you can pick up a 5.4 for only another $1k.
