HELP! electrical problems with hazards/wipers/windows!
hey guys i have what seems to be a big problem on my hands,
i just picked up a 99 c43 a couple weeks ago and i have been loving it so far!
earlier today, i decided to give my engine bay a wash as it was very dirty and dusty. right after that, i noticed that the 4-way lights were on and i could not turn them off. i went to start the car and the windshield wiper squirter started squirting uncontrollably and the car now starts in the "on" position (without having to crank it all the way)
i drove the car home and noticed water has come into the fuse box under the hood as someone prior to me did not put it back properly. i took out the fuses around the wet area (area closest to the firewall, fuses are for hazards, windows, wiper etc. just the stuff that is wrong!)
i cleaned up the area and blow-dryed it as much as possible and that did not help at all. (also my windows go down but not up)
i did some research and all of the symptoms that i am having seem to be associated with a "combination" relay. i know what that relay looks like but i can not seem to find it where most people say it is (under the cover behind the fuses)
can someone help?

if you wash your engine again in the future, try to cover the relay box with a plastic cover and don't blast that area with high pressure water.
you've got sort of a short circuit now with water in the wrong place.
wash engine with water when it's cold.
