Get some ferrite beads and run them on all of your RCA wiring, that should get rid of the RF interference and eliminate the "whine"

DCB, this sounds interesting, can you elaborate a little more, please?

I am sure you have seen them before, they are just a small magnet that allows the wire to pass straight through. The are used on computer monitors, car stereos, HDMI cable, etc...

Ferrite beads employ the mechanism of high dissipation of high frequency currents in a ferrite to build high frequency noise suppression devices

Here is a link to a picture of one.

Is that what those thingys are called?!?! I wondered what the hell those things were!

Let me ask you, I'm getting high-pitch interference on my HD TV, which is connected to my cable box thru an HDMI cable. I thought using a hi-def connecter like a HDMI cable is supposed to reduce interference? I just checked and none of the HDMI cables I am using employs these "ferrite beads". Is this something I can retro-fit to each cable?

Yes, you can buy the ferrite beads and clip them around any cable. Just make sure you get the right size to fit around the cable.

Just saw my GruppeM was mentioned in this thread. Don't know if anybody commented on the sound, but my C36 sounded better under WOT than any car I have ever owned or heard. During back road runs with multiple car clubs and groups, people always talked about it. Most people commented that they thought a Ferrari was passing them. The intake is also amazing looking. Looks good under the hood of my Cossie coming off the Garrett too
