sunroof sliding panel
hey guys,

anyone know where i can get a replacement sunroof/moonroof sliding panel for my C36 for a decent price?

would it be cheaper to have my current slidng panel removed and re-covered by an upholstery shop or should i just try to get a brand new unit? i have been looking online and cant seem to find what i am looking for.

I would suggest checking out the junk yards or getting it re-covered. I do not know for sure but I would imagine as any other part from MB it will cost you your soul and your first born child to get one from the dealership.

thanks bro. i figured that was my best bet, just wasnt sure if anyone knew otherwise.

you got any experience removing/installing the slider? doesnt SEEM too difficult, but with an MB u never know....

as a matter of fact there is this guy who posts DIY threads from time to time who did one not long ago on removal of the sun roof slider...
