Had a discussion with a 2012 5.0 GT
I was thoroughly impressed with the power of this car. First race was off a 40 roll. Neck in neck up to about 110-115, then it starts to pull away.
By about 155, it's 2 car lengths ahead of me. Ford did quite nicely with this car.
The second race was about 4 lengths unfortunately. This shows me I need a bigger heat exchanger and/or intercooler pump, heh.
Though all in all, I'm proud of my car's performance.
Future remaining mods will be throttle bodies, and likely the heat exchange and intercooler pump. Then that's it!

Well its @ 234.36 bhp/ton and has a 6 speed manual.
a stock c32 is @ 213.46 bhp/ton..
Your c32 should be closer if not exceeding his power at the crank but you were likely hindered by drivetrain loss.
