I am a member of MBClub Forum in the UK ( C43AMG) as you are DRBC.

I sold my C43 to BlackC55 of the same forum ( Olly) He has the garage PCS.

I now have a CL55AMG Kompressor, but still log on to the C43 section. Hope you don't mind me trespassing.

Hnmm, what do you mean by that? I guess when you get our age, if you have racing in your blood, you always aim to have a fast car in the garage

A few of us may be in our 60's but it doesn't mean we're dead...at least not yet

I think it is cool because alot of people in my country (holland) are boring. the older they get the more boring their cars are getting. offcourse there a few exceptions. And yes I really love cars I am always busy with them or thinking about one. I want to drive and own as many mercs as I can. I am planning on doing nice stuff to my c36 next summer.

Yes, a piece of AMG history. Just make sure the "steel worms" don't get a grip and have a feast on the structure

I think the everyday w202/w203's have the younger crowed covered. Most younger kids don't even know what this car is, unless they have an AMG addict for a parent. I would never let my teenager drive a RWD car with 300+ HP and a top speed limited to 155mph. That is just asking for trouble. IMO.

I think it has more to do with the fact that these cars still cost $6k+ unlike the older Subaru's, Honda's, etc... that someone younger could easily afford. Not that $6k+ is a ton of money but most people 20 and younger are probably making minimum wage (or close to it) and it is a lot easier to save $2k and pick up a Honda rather than a car that costs $6k+ (not to mention the gas )
