1995 C 36 AMG; 1992 W124 300E (M103 Ex Mosselman TT KIT) was 320hp @10psi now stock :(
My 36 doesnt seem to have a limiter btw!!! i got it up to 162mph and it was still going but i was a on a dark unlit dual lane road at 2 am in country other than mine so i wasnt very confident to keep pushing it to the very max. it did feel like it could top above 170mph but i cant be sure. and thats the indicated speed who knows whats the true speed is. and i dont trust mobile gps apps at such hi speeds, i am convinced they cant read proper at high speeds.

vbox is one of the most accurate to date actually, using satellite positioning. speedometers after 100mph~ will be off, no matter how calibrated it may appear to be (for most cars anyways). 150mph on the dash will definitely not be 150mph on the road. In summary, you're never going as fast as the speedometer says.

oh i forgot to mention though, nice vid. Never got the ***** to try going past 145, not enough straight freeways and too many cops around my area. these cars are fun especially for what they are, but they just don't pick up speed fast enough. Maybe i'm expecting too much?

well on the 36 it seems to pic up the pace after an indicated 130-135mph and then slows at 160. but it keeps going. i have seen many vids on youtube for 36s going all the way to indicated 280km and i used to wonder if my car could do it. having tried it im convinced it can. what that translates in ture speed i dunno most likely its abt 260km/h or 160mph

but it is still pretty stable at such high speeds i must say. mind you i have the r888 toyo race tires on the car and its loud at those speeds.

I didn't see the "LIM" light up on the dash but it definitely looked like you hit 155 MPH

P.S. I was kidding

I think these cars pick up speed very well. Never had any issues with people trying to pass me.

For what they are, definitely. Call me crazy, but i compare our cars to the more modern and faster ones out there; jb4 335i, e46+ m3, 55k/63 AMG, r35 gtr, you name it. Sat in a bunch of them for some speed runs, drove a few of them; makes you wish yours was just as quick afterwards.

I think the performance of our cars at high speed is quite good for their power. a delimited c43 will top at just above 170mph. hey even my W140 S500 hit its speed limiter easy on a short strt i hate limitters btw
