No any news till now from them...,,
The bracket has a larger hole & screw threads,, i saw it in my friend's car,, im not sure if that bracket comes in all (99-2000),, i have a suspicious about it, maybe my friends car some how modified from a professional garage or something...,,
I need to be more accurate about that, im still following around,,
"car is far away from me = doubts+suspicious+headache"
ZAYED,,

If your friend can send us a picture of the tunnel hole that will really help am sure it will be cut so that the tip shifter can fit in then i know i need to cut it. Dont want to cut anything it might not need cutting but i doubt it

Of course NOT, As i told before,;
Without recoding, the swapping will not work,,"ECU & TCU & DAS" they’re married & should to talk to each other properly,, ECU should be reflash to get a new data, some of the early ME2.0 doesn’t accept new data file, cause the hardware file doesn’t has enough Rom to save it,, and the TCU should be changed in only one case:
If your ECU doesn’t accept the new data, in my friend car; ECU&TCU are already accept the new data from STAR, Tip. shifter has the ID in the TCU itself, but depend of the TCU software version.....

So wont the normal gears work such as P N R D? Because what am thinking if i do this in my garage then i wont be able to move my car?
I know the tiptronic wont work till its coded but if normal gears work atleast i can get to a garage to have it coded?

Tip. shifter is coded through the TCU goes to the CAN bus to talk to the ECU and then DAS give a permission to calibrate together,, honestly its
a little complicated for our car, i Realy need my friend car to give a super answer about the ECU & TCU CALIBRATION....

Nice & clear pic., yes, this is the Linkage that you should to take it out & cover it,,
But don’t pull it out now, till i figure-out about the Tip. shifter swap first....

Inspected of friends junked 2000 CLK230K yesterday,, it has a different wiring dia. of my friends C55, as i Expect,,
1) Tunnel shape is NOT like my friends one, my friends one has a little different high distance, with a thiny bracket soldered in the tunnel it self....
2) I found-out that this CLK230K got an updated TCU(which is 20 32 /EGS52)
3) The Tip. connector has "10" pins, "4" pins is Empty,#: "031 545 62 32", & wiring harness #: "202 440 86 09", but in my friends car; the connector #: "64 32" & wiring harness #: "69 09"....
