The pic above is that used to fill the hole? Once the cable is taken off the gearbox?

Great thats cleared that up if i get stuck will let you know

Zayed i have done exstensive research on the wiring i am really suprised that your mates car was just plug n play

The wiring loom in our car is really different from the current wiring harness only 3 wires are used the rest a new loom has to be made going to correct positions

Zayed for future reference, any chance you could get the build date of your car and your bud's so we might have some idea when they switched it and what ours have?

Im not sure what Exactly missing about those pins, as i think, "3-5-9-10" pins related to the "Input & out-put power for the back-up light",

need to find out closely about that......

Do you pulled over your shifter(which is in the left side)...?, if so, do you have a plastic bracket under it...??, or just the one in the pic.....???

I asked you that, cause i need to clarify important thing, there’re "2" different tunnel & insulation area under the shifter,,

One comes with an alloy bracket that holds the shifter, and the other comes with a plastic in the shifter it self, that depend of the car spec. & Vin #,

The "W202 & W208 & W210 & W170" between "aug1999 to fab2000" comes with a thin bigger hole alloy bracket that holds the shifter in it,,

cause MB expanded that tunnel hole to match the Tip. shifter after "apr2000",, some models got that bracket & some isn’t,,

Although it has like our shifter,,

That’s why i need to get my friends car to confirm if that bracket comes separately, or with a tunnel assembly.....

If you can contact the shop you bought your shifter, and tell them to pictured the area under the shifter, you will see clearly if there’re a

bracket or not....

I went to the dealer today,, unfortunately they said; the tunnel bracket in the late of the W202 NOT comes separately,, it comes complete assembly, and when i asked them about the part # of the bracket or at least the tunnel assembly, they said we don’t have it in our system,, we need to contact the Germany dealer...,,

And about the wiring diagram, they said; you should to purchasing the wiring diagram from our shop,, because we loving you, we will give it to you around ($10,700)..., don’t forget, that price reflects how much we loving you....
