Why does the front end still squeak ?
After replacing the drag link and tie rods on my car, the front end still squeaks like crazy when turning or going over speed bumps. It sounds like an old Honda and I hate it. My tech says it might be the spring pads but im not sure that makes sense??
Control arms are in good shape and I cant think of what it could be... She drives is a perfect straight line but the tire are wearing a bit faster on the inside. Car is low on billy shocks and H&R springs. Its sitting on #1 pads all the way around now and its way too low for city driving in Dallas, so I have been meaning to change them out asap but I still dont think this is the issue. Any ideas? Or places to start looking? Ways to test it when the wheels are off? I have looked it over and cant find any brittle or broken rubber...

Control arm bushings perhaps? It can be difficult to tell if the rear bushings (on the front lower control arm) are torn because they are quite hidden from view.

Squeaking is DEFINITIVELY coming from the front. I've replaced the control arm bushings with in the past 12 months...

Sway bar bushings? Are any of your bushings poly? My KMac bushings (poly) on the lower control arms squeak. The poly bushings I have on my S2000 squeak too. Have you checked also the steering box mounting bolts, per Marcus' recommendation?
