When is it time to sell?
Have a beautiful 98 C43 with 60k that I love, and it's my daily driver. Had it for about two years and feel special every time I start the baby up. Have a chance to buy a 2005 C55 with 69k with 6months left on a CPO warranty from a private partymor 2003 clk500 with only 15k. Had planned to hold on to the C43 for another year, but getting nervous that something pricey might go, and maybe I should sell it now.
The question is: when is time to move on?
I've pondered this many times before. For the past ten years I buy someone else's old baby, love it, then sell it: lexus sc300, Corrado Vr6, and a clk320. The c43 is my favorite of them all, but while I timed things right with the lex and the clk the heater core in the VW blew up when I decided to hold on to it. Curious for your opinions.

If your 98' C43 with 60k has been cherished and serviced regularly, the engine is now well run in. Check for rust as those cars had a tendency to develop that type of cancer, which can be easily solved. Have you had the ATF and filter changed and tranny flushed? If this has not been done and you have proof of it ever done, just DO IT soon. Apart from that, a c43 is bullet proof and I would recommend you keeping it. I can say that mine will be kept for many years more. I just love it and its sleeper attitude, when you blow the doors off other cars 
my dad bought his w202 whan it was brend new, and he still has it.
