anyone want to give me a tip on why my C43 wont sell?
Again, take a look at Wayne's Volvo 'for sale' ad. Your pictures should be clear and crisp like his. Your photos are grainy and the white balance looks off. Are you using a camera-fone?!?! Your car has a beautiful tuxedo interior, that was one of the selling points when I bought mine.
Nothing looks crappier (in my opinion) then a dirty, crusty, black carpet (because it shows every speck of dirt/dust), on a supposedly luxury sport-sedan. It's a friggin' Mercedes Benz! Clean it before you show it off!
Personally, I would do all of the above and list it at a slightly higher price in the Autotrader Online & Craigslist in Cali. (LA, Orange County, San Diego, San Fran). Put together a short video doing a walk-around the car with it running and post it on youtube. Any cell fone with a video capture can do this. Better yet, use a digital camera.
Let prospective buyers know that you have the ability/ means to ship the car to the west (or east) coast. You'd be surprised how relatively inexpensive it is to ship a car. I drove my C43 1600 miles from LA to Missouri and it took 4-5 tanks of gas and $125 in ****ty motels.
BTW, I flew to AZ to buy my car. These aren't Camrys or Taurus's, they appeal to a select audience. I'm not knocking on where you reside, but your auto is going to have more appeal on either coast. You need to cast a wider net.
Finally, I feel that enthusiast sites are not always the best place to post your car for sale. That is just my humble opinion. We know where to look and find these cars, we already own them! We are here to share the comraderie and knowledge of owning such a vehicle.

A clean car, in good working order with documentation, priced in the middle of the various "Book" estimates and properly presented online will sell. Good luck!

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
I would imagine this mind-set applies to potential buyers of AMG's! Now, let's see those new (crisp) pics!
