alignment at a firestone tire center

anyone have any bad experiences? i usually go to an indie shop, but the firestone is much closer, so i was gonna just go there. i am thinking it's fine, but just checking with the forum first!

Went there today. Seems like they did a good job. $89, and they have a lifetime option for $179.99.

REALLY!!! I have one a couple miles from my house and lifetime $180 seems like an AWESOME deal

Yeah. FYI, lifetime doesn't apply if you end up lowering the car, although I'm sure there are ways to prevent them from knowing that. It does, however, apply if you get some suspension parts replaced.

Crapazoid! That's good information to have. One of the few guys here in Springfield that has a Merc said he used the local Firestone to align his car.

I was thinking of the lifetime gig, since I plan on lowering the car soon, but until then, I desperately need an alignment.
