My wife ordered me the new Gopro HD motorsport camera, it should be here tomorrow

Looks like I might need to hit up Ivan and run his C43 . It will be interesting to see as I believe he has no power mods except the eisenmann muffler (and I don't even know if that IS a power mod) and I have the UD pulleys, phenolic spacers, and secondary cats + resonator removed

I got one of those, nice piece of kit. I used it underwater, snorkeling, whilst in Hawaii. Also mounted it to my S2000 on a trackday. My only suggestion on vehicle applications is to mount it inside the car. Despite their claims of much improved wind noise resistance, if you mount it outside the car most of the noise is from the wind.

I want to pick up the $80 backpack thing they have out for it now, basically an LCD screen so you can actually see where the camera is pointing.

Nice camera, Gopro doesn't record sounds that nice. But you can always pick up an external mic. Anyways enjoy your present

Took my first video last night and uploaded it to my computer, I am not sure what the problem is but the video is very jerky while the sound is not. anyone have any experience with this camera?

I did record on the highest resolution, #5, this might have something to do with it...

Yup I was right, I recorded in R5 which is the highest resolution they have, my computer lacks the video card needed to play 1080P. I learned a lot just from the first video I made.

I should be able to make a video tomorrow night and post it.

My car sounds like a BEAST on the video, can't wait for the headers
