you can go 80mm or 82mm, most of the W211 e55 stuff works on the C43. Your going to spend $2k though or more.

I used 82mm in my previous C43,, its from new S550 # " 273 141 03 25", but it needs to make a spacer and bore the manifold

8mm,, unfortunately i don’t have pics., but you can go to: http://m.www.mbworld.org/forums/showthread.php?t=368196

as example........

ZAYED,,

What kind of gains are we talking going from a 74mm to an 82mm? Isn't there other modifications that should be done to take advantage of the bigger TB?

Good point.., when i did that TB upgrade, i didn’t feel any different, that’s why i upgraded the Injectors also, "396cc>>412cc" from

C32K/SLK32K/55sK # "112 078 03 49" or "113 078 01 23", then reprogrammed the ECU, after that im soo happy about results,,

unfortunate no dyno, but big difference NOTICED........

The plug is under the TB directly,, its a black round shape, you can see it from the bottom of the TB........

Okay thank you :-)))
Is it possible to connect an E55 W211 TB?
Is the plug the same?

The W211 E55 TB uses a square connector, but the C43 uses a round connector, both got a 6-pins with same colours,, if you need, i can confirm that to

you after i finish my duty...........

Hi Guys,

I´m the Owner of the C43 Supercharged...

Now, today we tryed to change the TB of my C43.
I´ve took the TB of my friend munich55. We connect
the wire of the engine with the e55 TB with the same
colours...

Unfortenetly it´s not working... It´s not relevant, how we
teach the TB, manual or with Star...

Please help

Also the colours are not all the same...
C43 White, Purple, Black, Yellow, Blue, Grey
E55 TB White, Black, Yellow, Blue, Lightpurple(?), Brown(?)... The colour of the last wire is not easy to say...

That’s soo strange..?!?, all M113 1998-2002, sharing a same wire colours,, i contacted with Mr. Rolf S. Bernard, Bosch Electrical wiring Engineer in

Hamburg, he Thankfully gave me the wiring diagram of the M113 TB, 2 years ago,, also im already swapped the round connector to the square one, i

didn’t noticed any difference between the colours......

Hmmm.... I´ve connected it really as it is shown at the pic.
The Problem is, there are two wire´s which got not 100% the same colours,
they didn´t match to each other...

Black, Blue, Yellow, White -> Clear...
But Purple and Grey!
The e55 TB got a "lightpurple" wire and also the "unknown colour"

If you connect the lightpurple to purple and the unknown to grey, it´s not working. Also when you change them, no chance...

After both connections, we tryed to teach the TB with star. Normally if you teach the TB with star, you can hear automatically working the TB, it is not doing that... Also there is a error report after:

M16/6 (stellglied drosselklappe) istwert-potentiometer
M16/6 (throttle control element) actual value potentiometer (Translatet with google )

The manual teaching of the TB is also not working ;(

Regards
Aziz
