Black/Black C43 for sale. What would you pay?
Hi everyone, I'm a first time poster here. I've always dreamed of driving a C36/C43 since they came out when I was in high school. I've been searching more and more for these rare cars and came across the listing below. I was hoping the community to give me their opinions on what they think is a fair value and what they'd be willing to pay. Thanks so much in advance.

I would pay $8k-$9k, I bought mine almost 2 years ago with 107,000 for $6500

Hi ...I imagine UK prices may differ slightly from the US .. I spent around 4 months last year looking for a C43 and in that time got a good feel on what was on offer here.
Very briefly in UK pounds !!!
£2K - 3K Dont bother they will need work and it will be cheaper buying a better car in the first place
£ 3K - 4K will buy a 100 -140 K miles with some body work issues but mechanically, interior in good condition. Some service history, >5 owners
£ 4K - 6K will buy a 60 - 100K miles with full service history, no known body work, mechanical or interior problems. <4 owners
£6 K and above .... This is all down you and your bank account, I saw two cars in this range, one for 9K and the other was selling for 11K. Both were mint one owner OEM cars with 40K and 23K miles.
Gave some thought about the 9K car but once I had made my decision both cars had sold within ten days.
In the end due to the cars being quite rare here in the UK I bought a car with a good history low owners but had a few body work issues and restored it.
The year of the car didn't seem to make much difference unless it was a rare 2000 model with a later t/gearbox.
Only you can decide at the end of the day... $15K for some people might be small change and will buy it ... for me it would have to be an absolutely perfect specimen.
I agree with 503C43 ////AMG $8-9K would be a fair price.

Looks pretty clean but:
- leather seats need some nourishment (creases on the side bolster
- missing plastic shroud in front of the A/C electric fans
- doesn't seem loaded with much options (heating seats, rear sun screen, etc.)
- missing valve cap on a wheel
- brake dust also on the wheels (could have been better cleaned before pictures
Needs to be seen underneath for rust (looke under the side sills towards the front and rear wheel and jcking points.
What service info does the vehicle have?
How does it drive?
Look and learn and always remember that there are no stupid questions, so just shoot them here

22 X3, 21 330e, 97 M3, 97 C36 (sold), but on the hunt for a clean, low-mile C43!
Yeah, I've dealt with the guy selling that car...an ultra tightass Indian dude who wanted $11K for a 96 C36 w/ 110K miles, LOL! Homie's taken a few too many hits off his hookah bong!

Agreed with everyone else, way way overpriced. It does have pretty low miles, but it doesn't seem as clean as it should for that milage. You can find much better examples in SoCal
