Ferrari Scuderia Owner considering a C63...

Hello All,

I made the mistake of test driving a 2012 C63. The C63 blew me away...it was the most fun car I have driven since my Ferrari Scuderia and my Lotus....

Doing a bit of research. We will replace our 2010 Cuprite E350 with a Curprite C63.

1) As mentioned above, we want to get another Cuprite Brown car. We love the color and its very unique. Does anyone here happen to have real life pics of a cuprite C63 they could post?

2) We will order a C63 with every option. Including the development package and LSD. According to MBs site the MSRP would be around $78k. I know that our dealer will sell the car to us for 6% off + the loyalty $2k. So, all in that would result in a before tax price of $71,000. Are there any other discounts or trunk money on these things?

3) Our 2010 E350 is a very comfortable long haul car. Its a perfect compromise. Is the C63 too harsh for long hauls...does the ride become to hard and annoying? (on the test drive it felt fine but, that was just a test drive)

4) Of course I want to look into mods. Already read that Renntech and others offer ECU tunes that bump the power close to 500. However, the Blacks have over 500HP with what appears to be the same motor....same with the SLS. What give? Is the c63 just detuned?

5) We have owned many MBs. I know that there are often little options that the dealers don't know about. (or at least the sales people don't know about). Are there any non-listed at MBUSA.com C63 options that are worth considering?

Any suggestions would be great. I appreciate the enthusiasm on this site!

Louie
