Spring Puller
A new dealer just opened very close to my house. I went in and asked to purchase some of the radio removal tools. They were going to have to order them, but no biggie. Then I asked about replacing my center caps and he went in the back to show me the different options they had. He came back with a set of radio removal tools and said, "Found an extra set out back, here you go" and gave them to me. Granted, it was an $8 part, but that little symbol of good customer service has made me happy to shop there. I'm sorry that your dealer isn't as interested in maintaining a good relationship with customers. Really shows a lack of foresight on their behalf.

Thanks for pointing this tool to the community

but absolutely no metal particles apart from the usual wear and tear particles
Looks like the oil has not been changed since years. Changed the fuel filter (dates back to 2006
) and fixed all the corroded fixtures and screws holding the filter and pump.I never could get a good bleed on the brakes since changing all the parts, despite using a pressure bleeder and the 2 man method. Guess what? I assembled the rear callipers the wrong way round, with the bleed screws facing down. I didn't realize and notice this when putting everything back together. Guess I deserve a spanking
Will be getting the car back later this evening so as to switch the callipers back the right way round. Then I can get out and do some
I neeeeed a fix sooooon.
You can't be sleeping while you do your tune ups, you have to keep your eyelids open.

I hope you sort out your mishappenings.
You'll notice the gearchanges improved alot after the oil was changed, transmision will thank you.
Did you buy new fasteners for the fuelpump and filter, something like these parts in my pics?
I bought mine from fleababy, but don't know if they are correct for our cars?
They tend to rust alot, is it because of some sort of galvanic reaction from fuelpump/filter touching the holder?
What can be used to prevent future rust on new holders, wrapping filter and pump with a cover mat or something?
What is this 1st. part and where is it located, I bought them all twogether.

Yes transmission changes are now silky smooth. What a change, I can't believe it. Wonderful.
I havn't WOT the old girl with the current dodgy brakes
No idea what he did with the filter holder. He did however remove the whole unit to drill out and replace a fixing screw. I'll have a look tomorrow when I change the rear callipers to the correct side. I'll tell you tomorrow

Please let us know how the ride quality and handling differ from the stock suspension.

Can you shed some more information on those rotors?
From what I understand, they are the stock rotors except they are drilled??
Can you post a link to where you got them from or maybe share the price?

You could probably get them cheaper buying them off Autohaus and having someone drill them

Yesterday evening I crossed the Alpes north to south on small roads. GREAT ride. I love the KW suspension. Firm but compliant at the same time. The EPC Yellow's should be bedded in now, but I have not yet done some very hard and prolonged braking. Fast approach to bends and a good shove on the pedal get's the speed down real fast. Only draw back is dust. Oh well, the wheels will get washed more often.
Getting back to the suspension, it should have also settled in. I just washed the car (it was wet and rainy also last night), I saw that the stance IMO is perfect with that small rake to the front

I won't lower the car any more because of some of the lousy and rather bumpy road surfaces I have to drive. In fact when turning in strongly in a bend and hitting some small ridges at the same time, the front wheels rub a wee bit. So any more lowering will increase that phenomena, which I don't want. A full suspension alignment will be dialled in when I get back home in 3 weeks. In the mean time, I just want to hear and enjoy that V8 roar in the mountain valleys

If you don't do a 4 wheel align after the kw install, you'll fucc up your tires within the 3 week align you planning to do.
Better do it asap to spare the even treadwear while you still have, did you do an align after the camber kit install?

Concerning the suspension set-up, nothing is specifically wrong or out of wack. Camber measured is at -1/2°. Toe in front and back is probably within the norm as she doesn't behave in a bad manner
