a proper introduction...new proud owner of a 1999 C43 ..hello!

hey guys....i havent come around to this but wanted to properly introduce myself. my name is rich...from the NYC area and just purchased a 1999 C43 AMG. I work as a trader for a middle market investment bank and do not really drive. I have an old 1998 altima beater i use to take my shedding dog and girlfriend around town in. So it came down to this...buy new? (m3, m5, c63) or go classic....so i went classic. why? i remember reading about this car in C&D when i was in college and was immediately in love with this car. Feel like i finally got a date with the girl i first fell in love with. Ive ridden motorcycles and have driven japanese cars my whole life so this being my first piece of german engineering leaves me with one word...WOW. i LOVE LOVE my car. it is sliver..great condition..all stock with 133k miles on it.

i mean there are small mechanical things here and there not working but not a big deal. i cannot wait to maintain this car and add little things here and there...totally intend on keeping it stock for the most part as my main agenda is to keep this car running and being close to original.

i wanted to say hi and show my love for you guys! t his board is great with a lot of great people behind it. looking forward to learning from you all.

haha i cant tell if youre being facetious or serious! is 133k actually low miles for a 1999? i thought it would be average no? also...i wish i could drive more however my commuting to work only requires a bus/train (i would drive but it actually takes longer)

one of the things i cannot decide on is how much of the cosmetic stuff do i fix? or leave it be as part of the soul of the car.

thank you for the driving tips...would LOVE to do that. track time isnt too expensive here from my understanding.
