I believe my setup is close to the SuperSprint system where mine is a dual setup I believe 2.5 inches both pipes leaving the Kleeman headers to two dual 2.5 inch metal cats before and hitting my 2.5 to 3 inch "Y" pipe turns into a single 3" pipe going the the entrance of the stock muffler.
This might be clearer:
From the Y pipe back I'm 3" Single, but before it becomes a single 3", on each side of the Y pipe Im 2.5" dual to the headers.
I like this setup a little better than mines since its dual from the headers going all the way to the mufflers like my M3's Full Euro SS setup from headers to rear muffler.
My Suspicion is this MBH setup the V8 engine may like it more.

It's 3" from Kleemann to all the way back!
I don't have any cats in the exhaust and I think I should put couple to pass the emission. I dont get any fault codes or OBD2 code, but it stinks from the exhaust lol.

That exh must have cost a nice penny to build then and they did a phenominal job
Eventually your car will throw a code.
