I have 0 luck with this. My sunroof shade cover material is shot to ****, so I want to remove the shade and take it off and redo it. Problem is, I have tried and tried to do it with no luck. I saw a video on Youtube for W202, and it says to pop open the sunroof and push up and it will slide out, but this doesn't seem to be the case for W202's with the vented slot shade. HELP ME!

I posted a DIY thread on how to remove the sunshade. If you search you can find it. You have to remove the front plastic trim by pulling/prying and then you remove the rubber accordion pieces on the side. After that I believe you can push it out through the top.

I might be missing a step or 2 as I can't fully remember but again search for the DIY I posted.

I am in the same boat. I snapped a clip that goes to the bars on the accordion piece its numbered 18547f . No luck finding this part on line.

I am going to attempt to slap some carbon fiber look adhesive with a coat of 3M spray on it and hope she sticks.

Anyone looking at Youtube W202 sunroof removal is not for the W202.
