Battery dead and the car is locked....help

Pressure on the lid!!
Yesterday I took out my battery from the trunk and closed it...for some reason(rum&pineapple juice) I had the where with all to unlock my car first then take out the battery n close the lid. Long story short I had access the the hood which I figured was enough to put some juice to the cars system and unlock the trunk from the inside. I followed the steps on the threads here and got power to the car but the trunk lock wouldn't disengage...my clock said 12 the car was reading temp and showed my mileage...I even tested the emergency lights which turned on but still no trunk activation. So after locating my spare key fob that has the blade on it to manually open the vehicles doors an trunk I read that some people had luck using it an others didn't..HERES THE SECRETE!!!!! The trunk is being held down by its own weight so the lock has force pulling up on it from the springs that bring up your trunk..push down on the trunk lid while you turn the key to relieve the pressure on the hinge. simple rite..I thought I was gunna break off the key in the lock/sprayed ALOT of wd40 in there thinking it was stuck... but it's always gravity
