Hi, I am located in Hong Kong and I got my C43 last christmas, then I got the C36 for this christmas. Just got the C36 for 4 days....
They are two very different animal. C43 seems more suitable for normal use and C36 really push me to test its limit.

My story was kinda funny. One of my dream cars is a W124 500E/E500. However, there's no RHD V8 W124 so I am thinking something that is close to that.
Then two cars pop into my mind. a V8 R129 or a V8 W202
I love 4 door sedan so much so I am targetting a C43 for years. In 2008, the exact same C43 show up in the used car mall. I was chit chatting with my friend who work in the auto mall and my eyes cant stop looking at this car. The C43 was a fresh trade in and they dont know how much their boss want to sell, so I came back the next day and found out... the car was gone......
Then in 2011.... the same black monster show up on the internet for sales! THis is another interesting story. One of my friend's friend actually put deposit on it but ended up giving up the car, or I should say the owner got pissed and refused to sell to my friend. So I become the owner of this C43.

your c36 has a Brabus gearknob, power rear blind, folding mirrors, dark wood trim.
your c43 has everything but power rear blind.
your cars are they supplied for Asian market or imported from another country?
have you noticed any fuzzy lcd problems on both cars climate control lcd displays?
if you don't have it yet, you'll have it sooner or later.
this is an expensive part from MB to replace, many people leave it the way it is.

The C43 missing glass sunroof (which the C36 got), the rear blind and the immobilizer. But it got the parktronic and HID which I love the most!
Both cars got the headlamp wiper system which I love the most but totally useless in hong kong.
The LCD on 36 is fine but the light blub was out. The 43 got the usual LCD problem...
C43 is definitly a dealer car. I am not sure about the C36 but it seems to have a chance that is official dealer car because of the sticker and the kmh reading gauge

I am not quite sure about the mileage on C36 (but should be true mileage on C43) but the overall condition on C36 seems great and solid. However, it is pretty common for some used car dealers in hong kong to adjust the mileage before they sell the car. C36 has 6 previous owner which I think it is possible the mileage is not accurate

you have good eyes! Yes, the pipe is missing and I know it is not cheap to replace the one with 3.6 on top!

6 previous owners and a low mileage doesn't match
